Park Haecheon, ed., The Park, the River, Lee Duegyoung, Ilmin Cultural Foundation, 2013. Published in conjunction with Lee Duegyoung’s exhibition Park, Hangang, Ilmin Museum of Art. Offset printing, sewn hardback binding, page size 180 x 270 mm, 264 pp. Printed and bound by Top Process.

Exhibited in Koea Now! Craft, Design, Fashion and Graphic Design in Korea, Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris, 19 September 2015–3 January 2016. Included in the collection of Musée des Arts décoratifs, Paris.

Reflecting Lee Duegyoung’s mirror-like pictures of the Han riversides, the book can be accessed from either direction: the collective Optical Race’s contribution — transcripts from the Traffic Broadcasting System’s radio show — is placed upside down, providing an alternative direction for reading. The reproductions are printed on matte-glossy paper, and the texts are on rough, off-white paper.
