
Gwangju Biennale 2014: Graphic Identity

This is a contribution to the graphic identity special issue of Graphic magazine. We were asked to present the identity system we designed – with Shin Shin, who developed the Korean lettering and the application system – for the Gwangju Biennale 2014 in the form of a sixteen-page identity guidelines manual, which would be produced as a stand-alone booklet and published together with other contributions of the same format in a slipcase. Instead of trying to compress the entire guidelines into sixteen pages, we decided to zoom in and focus on the most fundamental principle, the variation of the title typography.
