Graphic Design, 2005–2015, Seoul: 299 Terms
offset lithograph, sewn in sections and flexi-bound with foil-stamped plastic cover
128 × 188 mm, 328 pp
Published in conjunction with the exhibition Graphic Design, 2005–2015, Seoul (curated by Kim Hyungjin and Choi Sung Min and presented at Ilmin Museum of Art), this book discusses what happened in graphic design in Seoul during the period in a non-linear form of a dictionary.
The typography is sober, the small format is handy, and the sewn binding with plastic cover—typical of dictionaries—is practical. The cross-referenced terms are marked by highlights.
