Commissioned for an exhibition about independent publishing, Why I Publish consists of two parts: a mural that looks like a book cover, and a book that reproduces the mural in actual size. By asking some unanswered question, this work suggests how we understand the form and content of the book, while exploring fundamental impulses behind our act of publishing.
