The graphic pattern covering the performer in the picture is a random permutation of a set of parameters: twelve different shapes suggesting the twelve strings of a gayageum (the traditional Korean instrument that is a main feature of this concert); eight different sizes for the eight players; and seven different colors derived from seven pieces to be played.
