Published as part of the Special Editions project to celebrate the release of the 100th title in the Minumsa World Classics series, our interpretation of Hamlet is strictly modern, without any historical references. We treated the text as a body of data, and designed the book as if it was a telephone book, paying no attention to the deeper meaning of the text. All the typographic decisions – indentation, color coding, placement of notes, justification, and the choice of a sans-serif typeface – were made to clearly organize and structure the text-matter elements.
