The composition looks as if it captures where two posters are adjoined, revealing the right half of one poster and the left half of the next. The two seem to advertise the same event with the same typography and design, except the images are different. In consequence, it creates an Ouroboros-like sense of distorted time flow. Take, for example, the dates printed in a large type: the closing date is shown before the opening date on the second poster. And it results in a certain delay in the reading of the exhibition’s title, Time Mechanics.
