Architectural Breathing is an annual performance program initiated by the artist Kim Sora, who provides a simple textual score to perform to the invited artists. The online-only 2021 edition started live-streaming on 27 November, exactly at 10 pm in Korea and lasted for 35 minutes and 47 seconds.

We designed the edition’s visual identity using a very simple typographic system based on a quasi-monospaced font set. There is no margin space around the text or between the lines and the page achieves total modularity. The result may be neither architectural nor breathing, but it does create an eccentric backdrop for online performance.
