Mirrors 3: Education
Mirrors is a serial that explores Korean graphic design from a Japanese perspective. Following its volumes on our work and that of the “millennial” designers, the third volume published in『Idea』, no. 396 investigates education programs. Five schools are introduced here: Ewha Womans University’s Faculty of Division of Design, Kaywon University of Art & Design’s Visual Communication Design Department, Seoul National University’s Department of Design, University of Seoul’s Graduate School of Design, and Hongik University’s Department of Visual Communication Design. Interviews with the teachers are printed in blue and distinguished from the pages for recent students’ works that precede them.
