Dust jacket front

The title typography is intended to express the conflation of the virtual and the actual in a way that is not as clichéd as this statement may sound. In an attempt to render the artist group’s italic logo without the matching font, the characters of an upright font were sliced up and then the slices were sequentially offset to create an oblique illusion (a trick that used to be widely adopted by bitmap fonts for low-resolution displays). An upright form was made by applying the same process inversely to a slanted typeface.
