This piece belongs to a series of designs for the exhibitions curated by Ahn Soyeon for the Atelier Hermès, Seoul. The three-part promotional campaign allowed us to reimagine the visual identity of the Atelier, as well as reflect on the current practice of graphic design for art institutions. Instead of focusing on individual exhibitions, we made a simple, continuous gesture that would connect the discrete projects, partly intended as an antidote to the perceived excess of design for art galleries and museums.
